and the missing pagoda.

While the girls are on there trip to the theatre we decided to continue our sightseeing tour in Tokio with a visit of the Sensoji Temple Asakusa and the famous pagoda.

So on the way there we made a short stop at our favourite bakery to be prepared for our half day tour.

Back on the road and jump to Asakusa Metro station  we passing the tourist information centre which is a very nice architectural building …

and just on the other side there is already the entrance into the temple area…

so after a long valley of street shops …

we finally found the pagoda and see this …

hmm… wait a minute … where is the pagoda I traveled more than nine thousand kilometre to see …. oooooooooh….

regardless  of this little shock the temple itself without the pagoda is a very interesting and beautiful place to be and of course to take a lot of pictures …

You can also find a lot of traditional styled Japanesse people within such temple areas …
