and the missing pagoda.
While the girls are on there trip to the theatre we decided to continue our sightseeing tour in Tokio with a visit of the Sensoji Temple Asakusa and the famous pagoda.
So on the way there we made a short stop at our favourite bakery to be prepared for our half day tour.
click here to see a review on it, and we totally love this place as it is so tasty 🙂
Back on the road and jump to Asakusa Metro station we passing the tourist information centre which is a very nice architectural building …
and just on the other side there is already the entrance into the temple area…
so after a long valley of street shops …
we finally found the pagoda and see this …
hmm… wait a minute … where is the pagoda I traveled more than nine thousand kilometre to see …. oooooooooh….
whaaaaaaat …
whyyyyyyyyy …
… we kind of hoped seeing something like this <— click here
regardless of this little shock the temple itself without the pagoda is a very interesting and beautiful place to be and of course to take a lot of pictures …
You can also find a lot of traditional styled Japanesse people within such temple areas …
and at a stone’s throw away there is the Tokio Sky tree, which I will also show you on the next blog post for –> Tokio by Night…
